  • My grandfather was Dent Parrett, founder of several tractor companies. I am gathering info about him and his activities and would appreciate any help. I am especially interested in his work on Co-Op, Cockshutt, Wallis, Massey-Harris, Graham-Bradley and any other tractors. Tom Parrett, New York City

  • I am looking for any information related to fire appratus supposedly built by Parrett Tractor in 1919 or the early 1920s. Vincent Bendix of Bendix brakes had financial interest in Parrett Tractor and moved the South Bend Motor Car Works fire engine firm from South Bend, Ind., to the Parrett plant at Chicago Heights in 1920. I am compiling a book on South Bend, Stutz and New Stutz fire apparatus and the Parrett connection would be of interest. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you, Rodger Birchfield, Indianapolis
