  • I am a graphic artist in Waco, Texas. Every year in Temple there is an antique tractor show, and for the last few years I have been designing the t-shirts to be sold. This year the group wants a 1935 Row Crop, Oliver Hart-Parr on the front. The pictures they gave me to go by don't have much contrast, and not having a background in tractors it is hard for me to just guess it in. I was wondering if anyone had any clear photos of that model tractor, and if so would a photo-copy be out of the question?

  • I own 3 HART PARR'S 1. 18-36 2. 12-24 3. 10-20 I have totally restored the 18-36 and it has now won several ribbons and awards, and many people now enjoy just admiring and seeing "HER"run. Every nut and bolt were removed ,and 18 months were spent on the restoration process. The 10-20 restoration is under way,but the 12-24 is still waiting in the shed. Need carby top and steering box for 12-24 but have the frame, wheels and remains of another 12-24 for trading. "HART PARR'S ARE FOREVER" Happy Restoring. a AAA

  • Question; The Waterloo Boy and the Hart-Parr were both two cylinder engines mounted in a horizontal fashion; what, if any, was the reason for this? The Rumley Oil Pull's engine was in the same position; did this possibly come about because of summilar research and development in the twenties? Is any one out there able to answer my questions?

  • I was wondering what year the 17-30 and 18-30 Hart-Parr Tractors were built.
Brian Freemantle wrote on Wednesday, February 23, 2000 (PST):
  • My grandfather bought a 12-24 back in 1927 and my father always told us of how he drove it 32 miles to a new farm that they bought in 1929. It was later sold to another farmer in the district who used it for many years to drive a sawbench. it was then sold to a collector who kept it for a short while before selling it to another collector. The second last owner told me that it still had it's original books with it. The tractor is still in working order. I am hopeful of being able to aquire it someday for sentimental reasons.
