1947 John Deere Model A - My first restoration of a 'real' tractor-- had done a few JD garden tractors. I got it in pieces and am now well acquainted with rust, angle grinders, wire brushes, rust, lye gravy, rust, electrolysis, rust phosporic acid, rust primer and paint. Before that inside the engine-- sludge, bearings, pistons, machine shops, carb passageways secret or known, sparks, sludge and as always SURPRISES.
